Christmas 2006

This was my 5th Christmas away from my family in Malaysia.

God is good. 10 of us got together and our chef, Yo-Han, cooked us a huge Christmas dinner. This Christmas was so different from previous as we are a family in Christ and celebrated Christmas together right here in Manchester.

Of course, we celebrated the way that people here celebrated Christmas, except exchanging gifts... (which I think it is too commercialised and the biggest gift we can ever receive is "John 3:16-18).

We had a great time on that day and enjoyed fellowship with each other...

I thank Lord Jesus for the covenant community I am part of in Manchester. This is a living community of Jesus Christ, a community with the passion of Making Jesus Famous in every aspect of our lives...

Covenant Community

Student life has restarted since last week and the whole week of lecture was really hectic..

God is good! On Saturday, cell leaders and pastoral team leaders with our elders in the church spent the whole day in Macclesfield. It was a day that we were constantly reminded that we are part of the covenant community.

I thank God for this covenant community that I am part of in Manchester. Looking back for the past three and half years, God has blessed me through this covenant community. His provision for me through this covenant community is awesome! And I can loudly declare that this is my family. A group of awesome people in Christ!

After so many people have used this "Blog" technology, I think this is time for me to join too.

Meanwhile, I need to get ready for college for Friday and next week...
